My name is Kartik Ajay Raj and I work as a Software Engineer in a multinational Fintech company based out of Bangalore. I am 28 years old and hold a B.Tech in Computer Science from SRM Institute of Technology main campus based on the outskirts of Chennai.
I began as a software developer with one of India’s premier IT Services company and worked for three years in Hyderabad. I am currently working as Software Engineer at a Global Financial Services Company drawing a 6-figure salary.
My family is a nuclear family with my father being a retired journalist and business consultant who stays with me. My mother, who passed away in 2016, was a school teacher in Bangalore. I have one older sister who is married to an Officer of the Indian Army and is an creative artist who does comissioned work.
I was born to parents who were raised in New Delhi. As part of my growing up, I too studied in schools in Mumbai, Chennai and Hyderabad, Both my parents are from Palakkad district, with my maternal side originating from Kakkayur (Koduvayur) and my dad’s mother hailing from Alathur. My dad’s parents were government employees in New Delhi while my mother’s dad was employed in the public sector.
I am conversant in English and Hindi and can speak Malayalam and Tamizh.
As a person, I am affable and affectionate and love having conversations around a wide array of topics. My choice of career aligned with my love for maths and logic and an ability to teach and explain things. I am an animal lover and a sports enthusiast, and have a pet of my own, I like to travel and drive during my free time and watch English movies and the odd Indian movie. I am a foodie and can cook non-Kerala dishes (Chinese & Continental) well. Since turning professional, I am also well-versed in daily chores of the house, with some help from my dad.
